Dorothy Lavern Hogan Ingle, 82, of Warsaw, died at 6:30 a.m. June 21, 2013, in her residence.
She was born May 30, 1931, in Silver Lake, to Arthur Hogan and Alice Gaut. On Aug. 13, 1955, in Nappanee, she was united in marriage to Wayne M. Ingle, who preceded her in death June 26, 1976.
She was a 15-year employee of Sun Metal, Warsaw, retiring in 1998. She attended Warsaw Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed her time with her family and grandchildren. She loved to read, crotchet and scrapbook. The singles group at Warsaw Wesleyan Church was also a big part of her life.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Tammie Tusing Ingle, Seattle, Wash.; three sons: Randy Ingle, Ron (and spouse Tecey) Ingle and Bryan (and spouse Jessie) Ingle, all of Warsaw; seven grandchildren: Tyler, Michael, Cameron and Alexander Ingle, and Zach Netzley, all of Warsaw; Neil Tusing, Washington; Jake Tusing, Florida; two sisters, Dee Hogan Maggart, Cromwell, and Shirley Hogan Greer, Larwill. She was preceded in death by a son, John “Yohaun” Ingle, and a sister, Velma Hogan Secrist.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Warsaw Wesleyan Church, Warsaw, with the Rev. Andrew Weaver officiating. Private burial will be in Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee, at a later date.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
