NAPPANEE - Dorothy Brumbaugh, 92, of Greencroft Healthcare, and formerly of Nappanee, died at 11:36 a.m. Aug. 24, 2010, in Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born Feb. 5, 1918, in Stumptown, to Mervin and Goldie Fox Frenger. On Dec. 9, 1944, in Lowell, he married Elwyn Brumbaugh, who died Feb. 28, 1998.
She worked at Evangel Press and Amish Acres in the gift shop. She was a former member of Nappanee American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Sam (and spouse Mary Lou) Brumbaugh, Goshen; a daughter, Nancy (and spouse Darrell) Thornton, Plainfield; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Turkey Creek Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Roger Eberly officiating. Burial will be in New Paris Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
