SYRACUSE – Dorothy A. Keim, 85, Syracuse, passed away Oct. 28, 2014, at her residence. She was born Nov. 20, 1928, in Porter, to the Rev. Vernon and Edith Garpow Palmer. On Aug. 14, 1955, she married Lemoine Keim, who survives. She was a Syracuse resident since 1958. She was a data processing manager for Da-Lite Screen, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Syracuse. Also surviving are two sons, Steve Keim, Syracuse, and Dave (and spouse Kelly) Keim, Clifton Park, N.Y.; a daughter, Lori (and spouse Bill) Dixon, Syracuse; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith “Dee” Hoover and Verna Messenger. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary United Methodist Church with Pastor David Henry officiating. Burial is in Syracuse Cemetery. Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.
