HOBART – Dorothea Thomas Kurth, 99, of the Hobart/Barbee Lake area, died Sept. 4, 2011.
She was born to Clifton and Uva Lee Thomas.
She married Frank “Red” Kurth, who preceded her in death.
She was a retired Hobart school teacher.
Surviving are a son, Tom (and spouse Barbara) Kurth, Elkhart; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hobart, with the Rev. Gary Nagy officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
