Doris R. Boggs, age 99, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at 10:13 p.m. in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.

Doris was born Oct. 8, 1921, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Wilbur and May Stuart Zimmer. She was united in marriage to Fred Boggs on May 16, 1942, in Warsaw, who passed away July 18, 1996.  

She lived most of her lifetime in Warsaw. Doris was an office manager for Boggs Leasing. She was a member of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and Crystal Home Extension Club.

Doris is survived by children: Jim Boggs, of Warsaw; and Judy Spiegel, Plymouth; sisters: Jean Titus, Texas; and Mary Lou Keplinger, Warsaw; grandchildren: Cheryl Fouts, Warsaw; Tracy (Michael) Wilson, Leesburg; Kay (Bill) Kelly, Leesburg; Scott (Shelley) Boggs, Mentone; Shana Leed, Argos; and Jaime (Bryan) Hall, Plymouth; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.         

She was preceded in death by husband, Fred Boggs; sisters, Leona Buhrt and Esther Wise; and grandson, Butch Boggs.

A visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow immediately at the funeral chapel with Pastor Stacy Downing officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Due to current COVID-19 recommendations, masks are required. The public is kindly requested to provide their own. Social distancing is strongly encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
