Doris Marie Reece, 91, of Warsaw, died at 7:36 p.m. March 14, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born May 14, 1918, in Warsaw, to Joseph and Minnie Kimes Leiter. On Feb. 16, 1937, in Warsaw, she married J. Richard Reece, who died Sept. 16, 1982.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, she was a cook for Warsaw and Leesburg schools for 12 years. She was a graduate of Claypool High School and a member of Salvation Army Auxiliary and the Home Ec Club.

Surviving are two sons, Monte (and spouse June) Reece, Warsaw, and Randy (and spouse Naomi) Reece, Franktown, Colo.; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Morris, Faye Stickler and Deane Goshert; and two infant brothers.

A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
