Doris M. Breading, 100, Warsaw, passed away at 3:45 p.m. June 10, 2015, in Mason Healthcare, Warsaw.
She was born Oct. 11, 1914, in Burket, to Glen and Ethel Davis Hatfield. On Nov. 21, 1938, in Warsaw, she married Robert L. “Bob” Breading, who preceded her in death Oct. 29, 2001.
Her family moved to Warsaw in 1915. She was a co-owner with her husband and bookkeeper of Service Electric for 71 years. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Delta Theta Tau Sorority and Warsaw Arts and Crafts. Her hobbies included sewing, crafts, bowling, auctions and going to garage sales.
Survivors include a son, James “Jim” (and spouse Dixie) Breading, Warsaw; a daughter, Penny Breading, Warsaw; three grandchildren: James (and spouse Nikki) Breading, Plainfield; John Breading, Warsaw; and Dana Breading, Fort Myers, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren: Bianca, Lily and Charlotte. She also was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and a granddaughter, Dee Ann Breading.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Pastor Jim McKibbin officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
