MILFORD - Doris Jean Boocher, 60, of 653 E. CR 250N, Warsaw, died of natural causes at 10:50 p.m. March 25, 2007, in her residence.

She was born June 16, 1946, in Plymouth, to Buel and Martha Hoover Wheeler. On March 20, 1970, she married Michael Boocher, who survives.

Spending most of her life in Bremen, she moved to Warsaw in 1995. She was an industrial seamstress at Heimbough, Warsaw, and worked at Gas America and Grovertown Truck Stop as a cook for 20 years. She attended Trinity Faith Tabernacle Church, Pierceton, and was a member of Eagles Lodge. She was a 1965 Laville High School graduate.

Also surviving are four sons: Don B. Boocher and Scott (and wife Tammy) Boocher, both of Warsaw; James (and wife Kay) Ludwig, Mentone; and Todd (and wife Amy) Boocher, Morgantown, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Bob (Joanne) Service, Plymouth, and Mrs. Wayne (Joy) Williams, Syracuse; a brother, David (and wife Cindy) Wheeler, South Bend; eight grandchildren, Kayla, Bradley, Travis, Stephanie, Ashley, Tyler, Ian and Brianna; and her father, Buel Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, 461 W. CR 900N, Milford, with the Rev. William Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
