Doris Jamison, 94, died March 13, 2009, in Sunrise Assisted Living, 10 W. Monument St., Colorado Springs, Colo., where she resided.
She was born Feb. 22, 1915, in Greenville, Ohio, the oldest of three children of Guy and Fern McCabe White. She married C. Clifford Jamison, who died in 1992.
She spent the majority of her life in Barbee Lakes, where she was an avid fisherman. After spending many years taking care of her family, she worked as a receptionist at Murphy Medical Center, Warsaw, until she retired to help raise her two granddaughters. She lived in Colorado Springs for the past 16 years.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are two daughters, Judith Roose, Colorado Springs, and Barbara Jamison, Merced, Calif.; and two granddaughters, Jama Roose, Colorado Springs, and Jennifer Griffin, Greeley, Colo. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kay White, and a sister, Mary Brindle.
