Doris Arlene BowermanDoris Arlene Bowerman, 75, of Warsaw, formerly of Mentone, passed away at 6:02 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw.
She was born on Feb. 20, 1946, in Benton Harbor, Mich., to Frederick R. and Arlene M. Stover Anderson.
She graduated from Madison Township High School in Mishawaka and the University of Arkansas. She was married on Nov. 19, 1979, in Warsaw, to Lloyd John Bowerman, who survives. She was a registered nurse in Arkansas and Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw and was very proud to work for Dr. McCaddy in Fayetteville, Ark. She grew up in Mishawaka/Elkhart area, and lived in Fayetteville, Ark., Albany, N.Y., and China before moving to Syracuse and Mentone.
She was a member of Harrison Center Church in Etna Green.
She is survived by husband, John Bowerman, of Warsaw; son, John Stuckwich, of Columbus, Ind.; sister, Carol (Mike) Camper, of Orland, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jennifer Mishler; and a brother.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. A private family Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Harrison Center Church in Etna Green.
