NORTH MANCHESTER - Doris A. Marburger, 75, of North Manchester, died at 3 a.m. Jan. 21, 2010, in her residence.
She was born May 26, 1934, in Wabash, to Galen A. and Viola K. Kreider Bucher. On Feb. 1, 1958, she married Jack L. Marburger, who died Feb. 14, 1991.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Bippus, and Busy Mother's Club, North Manchester. She was a military wife most of her life, having lived on various military bases in the United States and Germany.
Surviving are a son, Douglas L. (and spouse Debbie) Marburger, Silver Lake; a daughter, Dorma K. (and spouse Sam) Prough, Logansport; a sister, Linda D. Martin, Fairmount; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, two brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
