NORTH WEBSTER — Dorene L. Kuhn, 61, Cromwell, passed away at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.
She was born Nov. 13, 1955, in Wabash, to Joann Miller Johnson.
She graduated in 1974 from Wabash High School and attended Ancilla College, Donaldson, and nursing school in Kokomo. She moved to the North Webster/Cromwell area in 1980 from Wabash and was married on Sept. 6, 1980, in Wabash, to Danny D. “Dan” Kuhn, who survives.
She was employed at Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice as an LPN for 10 years, and worked at Miller’s Merry Manor for 32 years in Warsaw, Wabash and Syracuse.
She was a member of Broadway Christian Chapel, Kimmel.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Kuhn, Cromwell; a daughter, Danielle (Jeremy) Kerr, Coldwater, Mich.; three sons: John (Marianna) Kuhn, Temecula, Calif.; Daniel (Jennifer) Kuhn, Helmer; and Andrew (Sarah) Kuhn, Cromwell; five grandchildren; and nine stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home, with Pastor Sam Erwin officiating.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place in Thorn Cemetery.
