Julie A. Dorcey and Michael H. Thompson were married April 10, 2009, in Clearwater Beach, Fla., with the Rev. Allen and Mike Thompson officiating. The bride is the daughter of JoAnn and William Dorcey, Farwell, Mich.; the groom's parents are Mike and Wanda Thompson, Indianapolis.
Best man was Justin Cordero, son of the bride.
The bride is a senior validation analyst at Zimmer, Warsaw. She is a graduate of Swan Valley High School, Saginaw, Mich., and received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Grand Valley State University Grand Rapids, Mich., in 1989.
The groom is the head web designer at Desperado Web Design, Warsaw. He is a graduate of Lake Gibson High School, Lakeland, Fla. He received a degree in computer science from Indiana University in 2000, and a degree in biology from Auburn University in 1995.
The couple plan to take a wedding cruise to the Bahamas in June. They reside in Warsaw.
