Ryan Meyerink paved the way for me to put in my 2-cents worth regarding Mrs. Collins.Every time I see her name in the letters, I cringe because I know she is going to belittle the president, by calling him names, or any of the Republican Party, for that matter. I am of the opinion that she is Democrat big time, and no matter who the president is or who is running for president, if they are Republican, she is going to run them down. And I'm sure if these very same people had Democrat tacked to their names, she would be all for them.
I'm not one to attack a person because of their political status, and I would be willing to split or change my ticket if I thought a person was not qualified for the position he is running for. I would vote for the man, not the party. But, I'd bet my bippy she would not. I could be wrong about her, but I've never seen anything she's written praise a Republican.
And, I'm also wondering where she gets all of her information and why I never read about what she is inferring. I try to read everything I can regarding the upcoming election and all the issues the candidates are promising to change, and I have yet to read all the negativities she writes about. Perhaps, she gets all of her information from a Fort Wayne newspaper.
Also, Linda, you were right on regarding Bill Clinton having Osama in the gun sights more than once and "chickened out." If he had done what should have been done, there would have not been a 9/11 and there would not have been a war in Iraq. And yet, the staunch Democrats thought and still think Bill Clinton and his wife could do no wrong.
There, I've said what I've wanted to say ever since reading Mrs. Collins' first letter to the editor. And, I did not do any name calling or use any negative remarks about our current administration. I think without all the negativity, what will be will be and we will have to accept whatever that might be and respect the leader of our wonderful USA.
