SYRACUSE – Donnette Laurelie Smock, 69, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, after a battle with cancer.
Born in Warsaw to Robert “Slewfoot” Chambers and Madonna Morrissette Chambers on Oct. 27, 1950, she lived the majority of her life as a “Lake Girl” in Kosciusko County.
Surviving are her husband of 24 years, Ron Smock; her daughter, Laurelie Hall Henry (spouse Mark); and a grandson, Benjamen; her sister, Suzanne Chambers; brother, Dean Chambers.
She was preceeded in death by her parents; brother Michael Chambers; and her son, John Thomas Hall.
A funeral mass and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 4 at 11 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 70 people will be allowed to attend.
Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, is handling the arrangements.
