Donna Sexton, 46, of 2794 Old Kirk Axtel Road, Hardinsburg, Ky., and formerly of Warsaw, died at 11:35 a.m. Dec. 7, 2009, in Brandenburg, Ky., from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
She was born May 14, 1963, in Warsaw, to Curtis and Ada Owens Prater. On May 18, 2007, she married Tommy Joe Sexton, who survives.
She was a homemaker, residing in Meade County, Ky., for the past nine years. She was a 1981 Warsaw Community High School graduate and formerly worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons, Warsaw, and most recently at Crum & Sons LLC, Paynebill, Ky.
Also surviving are two daughters, Tiffany Sexton, Hardinsburg, Ky., and Kelly Sexton, Irvington, Ky.; a son, Tyler Sexton, Hardinsburg; her mother, Ada Prater, Silver Lake; four sisters: Alicia Crum, Prestonsburg, Ky.; Debbie Shepherd, Etna Green; Violet (and spouse John) Malott, Silver Lake; and Jodi (and spuse Ryan) Stouder, Warsaw; and three brothers, Doug Plew, Oswego, and Randy Prater and J.T. (and spouse Jodi) Prater, all of Silver Lake. She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastors Frank Whitaker and Rick Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
