ROCHESTER - Donna Jane Rock Crispen, 51, of 4886 W. CR 1550N, Rochester, died Nov. 23, 2008, in Miami County, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
She was born Oct. 6, 1957, in Fulton County, to Donald and Alta Hittle Rock. On Sept. 22, 2006, in the Rochester City Building by Mayor Thompson, she married Steven D. Crispen, who survives.
A lifetime Fulton County resident, she was a 1976 Caston High School graduate. She was plant supervisor at Custom Magnetics, North Manchester, and formerly worked at Marshall Electric. She collected tigers, loved to fish, hunt and go horseback riding. Her grandchildren were the pride of her life.
Also surviving are three daughters: Stacy Jane Manns (and companion James Dice), Akron; Jacqueline M. Manns (and fiance Daniel Peters Jr.), North Manchester; and Courtney Altalee Kirby (and companion Jeremy Shock), Macy; a son, Joshua D. Kirby, Rochester; two stepdaughters, Amanda M. Barnes, Akron, and Katherine R. Mullins (and fiance Jay Schlosser) Tiosa; nine grandchildren: Whitney Jane and Ryan Paul Eugene Dice, Natalie Christine Kirby, Anna Lee Schock, Curtis and Katelynn Barnes, Antonio and Zachary Taylor Mullins and Jacob Schlosser; her mother, Alta Madlem, Macy; three brothers: Darl Wayne (and spouse Janet) Rock, Rochester; Richard E. (and spouse Jeannie) Rock, Kewanna; and John W. (and spouse Linda) Rock, Twelve Mile; nieces and nephews; her Blue Heeler, Checkers; her tiger cat, Simba; and her quarter horse, Dee. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Rock, who died in 1990, and her stepfather, John Madlem, who died in 2003.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Pastor Thad Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Richland Center IOOF Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
