BOURBON – Donna B. Blackford, 84, Tippecanoe, passed away at 3:40 p.m. June 1, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Rolling Prairie with her family at her side. She was born Jan. 15, 1930, to Clarence and Bertha Metzler Stouder. On Sept. 23, 1948, she married William H. Blackford, who died Dec. 31, 1999. She was a resident of the Etna Green and Tippecanoe area all her life. She was a graduate of Etna Green High School and was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Tippecanoe Community Church. Over the years she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Tippecanoe Fire Department. Surviving are five children: Colleen (and spouse Barry) Halter, Rolling Prairie; Joe (and spouse Pam) Blackford, Hebron; Steve (and spouse Kathy) and Ken (and spouse Tina) Blackford, all of Tippecanoe; and Pastor Bill Jr. (and spouse Lisa) Blackford, Bowie, Md.; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria (and spouse Bill) Stackhouse, Charlottesville, Va.; and three brothers: James (and spouse Serita) Stouder, Warsaw; Dallas (and spouse Mary) Stouder, Tippecanoe; and Richard (and spouse Janet) Stouder, Etna Green. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathy Stults, who died Jan. 30, 2009; a grandson, Greg Stults, who died April 19, 1974; a sister, Marion; and five brothers: Robert, Leonard, Glenn, Cecil and Velorus. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tippecanoe Community Church, Tippecanoe, with Pastor Douglas Fritzel officiating. Burial is in Tippecanoe Cemetery. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
