Donald Richard Rhodes, 74, Warsaw, passed away at 9 a.m. Nov. 29, 2013, at his residence. He was born Aug. 3, 1939, in Etna Green, to Carroll and Elaine Orsund Rhodes. He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 36 years. He was a 1958 graduate of Bourbon High School, and retired from NIPSCO in 2002. He was a Heavy B Operator, working with backhoes and dump trucks. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kathleen Rhodes, Warsaw; two brothers, Roger (and spouse Shirley) Rhodes and James (and spouse Bonnie) Rhodes, both of Warsaw; four sisters: Shirley (and spouse Donald) Guske, Crown Point; Janet White, Syracuse; Carolyn (and spouse Donald) Rarick, and Patricia Nichols, both of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating.
