Donald Ray Hines, 80, died at 11 a.m. Nov. 17, 2012, in Barnes-Jewish-Christian Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. He was born Nov. 18, 1931, in Silver Lake, to Roy and Faye Beeney Hines. On June 19, 1954, in Warsaw, he married Verna L. Nelson, who died Dec. 24, 2001. He retired from Dalton Foundry, Warsaw, after 41 years of service. He was a member of Community Grace Brethren. He invested in real estate and managed rental properties. Surviving are three sons: Dr. James (and spouse Martha) Hines, Saginaw, Mich.; Jon Hines, Warsaw; and Jack (and spouse Ann) Hines, Willow Springs, Mo.; a daughter, Joann Carr, Pierceton; and a sister, Gloria (and spouse Art) Carter, Fort Wayne. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Hines and Edward Hines, New Mexico. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
