Donald Paul 'Don' Long

BOURBON – Donald Paul “Don” Long, 64, Bourbon,  passed away Sept. 21, 2015, in Goshen.
He was born July 18, 1951, in Warsaw, to Emery A. and Ruth Naomi Crouse Long. On May 1, 1983, he married Nanette R. “Nan” Earl, who survives.
He graduated from Triton High School and attended the University of Colorado in Pueblo, Colo. He lived most of his life in the Etna Green and Bourbon areas. He was the former owner/operator of Long Construction, Bourbon, and formerly worked at Franklin Coach, Nappanee.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 421, Bourbon.
Also surviving are, three daughters: Courtney Long, Goshen; Amanda Long, Corpus Christy, Texas; and Crystal Simonton, Denver, Colo.; two granddaughters; a sister, Joann Scott, Zionsville; two brothers, Richard “Dick” (and spouse Donna) Long, Leesburg, and Max (and spouse Pat) Long, Owensboro, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Long.
Services will be held at a later date in Bourbon. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw, is entrusted with arrangements.
