MILFORD - Donald P. Wolferman, 78, of Milford, died at 5:40 a.m. Dec. 20, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.
He was born Sept. 10, 1930, in Milford, to Earl and Mabel Gunderman Wolferman. On Aug. 20, 1950, he married Sue Wiggs, who survives.
A lifetime area resident, he was a school bus driver and farmed since 1948. He attended Wawasee Community Bible Church; was a member of Milford Lions Club, Masonic Lodge and Mizpah Shrine; and was a former member of Milford Town Board. He was a 1948 Milford High School graduate, where he was known for his athletic ability.
Also surviving are two daughters, Deb (and spouse Walt) Pickerell, Plymouth, and Darcy (and spouse Dennis) Hively, Syracuse; a son, Doug (and spouse Kristy) Wolferman, Syracuse; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Tom Speicher officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.
