NORTH MANCHESTER – Donald L. Niccum, 62, of Bremen, Ala., and formerly of North Manchester, died at 8:22 p.m. June 28, 2013, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born Aug. 19, 1950, in Wabash, to Edward R. and Esther Merrick Niccum, who preceded him in death. He married Judy D. Hall, who died June 17, 2011. He had been a heavy equipment operator in Alabama. He served in Vietnam with the United States Navy. He attended Bethany Baptist Church (Church on the Lake), Bremen, Ala. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1969. Surviving are four sons: Nico (and spouse Karen) Figueroa, Aurora, Colo., Jonathon E. Niccum, Bremen, Ala., Frank Anthony (and spouse Anna) Niccum, Santa Cruz, Ala., and James (and spouse Shanna) Hays, Bremen, Ala.; two daughters, Kimberly M. Niccum, Las Vegas, Nev., and Christina Hays, Hanceville, Ala.; three brothers, Rexford (and spouse Mary Ethel) Niccum, Combes, Texas, Clark Niccum, Fort Wayne, and Ronald (and spouse Barbara) Niccum, Stafford Springs, Conn.; a sister, Patsy (and spouse William) Wimmer, Columbia City; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
