BOURBON – Donald Howard, 64, Warsaw, passed away at 3:02 p.m. Oct. 25, 2014, in the Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 19, 1949, in Jackson, Ky., to Harris and Pearlie Miller Howard. He had been a resident of the Warsaw area for several years. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from Gulfstream Coach as a quality control inspector, and he enjoyed playing in bands as a hobby. He is survived by two daughters, Patty (and spouse Brian) Dean, Peru, and Tonya Howard, Watertown, N.Y.: six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Virgie Hollan, Talma; and a brother, Beech Howard, Atwood. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Odessa Miller, Betty Marshall and Bessie Noble; along with two brothers, Brian and Haskel. Graveside services with military honors will follow calling Thursday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
