Donald D. Bradbury

ELKHART – Donald D. Bradbury, 87, Elkhart, died Oct. 21, 2015, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born June 14, 1928, in Atwood, to the late William A. and Elma Schooley Bradbury. On Oct, 28, 1950, in Etna Green, he married Chrystal I. Robinson, who survives.
He proudly served with the 101st Airborne, U.S. Army, as a corporal during the Korean Conflict. He retired from CTS in 1990 after 39 years as an electrician. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Moose Lodge, CTS Quarter Century Club, retired UAW and an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan.
Also surviving are two sons, Don W. (and spouse Lona) and Danny L. Bradbury, all of Elkhart; one sister, Juanita Alexander, Warsaw; seven grandchildren: Becky Bradbury, David (and spouse Rachelle) Bradbury, Dena (and spouse John) Garber, Connie Caiceros, Michelle (and spouse Jon) Pfeil, Jennifer Bradbury and Nathaniel (and spouse Toni) Bradbury; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by nine sisters: Geneva Bradbury, Ethel Ulsh, Maxine Grimm, Donnabelle Adams, Edna Scott, Goldie Harley, Thelma Hope Lowery, Cleota Hatfield, Cora Bradbury; and five brothers, Harley, Howard, Harold, Hollis and Holland Bradbury.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hartzler-Guntermuth-Inman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Needham officiating. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
