Donald A. Babcock, 56, Rochester, died at 1:06 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, following a brief illness.
He was born Jan. 31, 1962, in Jamestown, N.D., to Ambert and Dorene Widdifield Babcock. On Nov. 29, 2008, in Rochester, he was married to Jennifer Cramer. She survives.
Don served in the United States Army in Germany as a combat engineer.
A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, with calling one hour prior, in the New Life Church, U.S. 31 and CR 50N, Rochester.
A military service with the United States Army Honors Team will be in Marion National Cemetery, where burial will follow.
