CHURUBUSCO – Don Johnson, 71, Columbia City, passed away Nov. 22, 2016, at his home. He graduated from Churubusco High School in 1963, International Business College in 1965 and later from Saint Francis College. He retired after more than 30 years career as a guidance counselor. After his retirement, he worked for Don Ray Drive-A-Way, Decatur, and later drove for Zimmer Orthopedic Co., Warsaw. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Terry, Columbia City; his two daughters, Ann (spouse Eric) Johnson, Cincinnati, and Amy (spouse Brock) Skinner, Churubusco; his twin brother, Ron (spouse Sherry) Johnson, and his brother David (spouse Jann) Johnson, both of Churubusco; his sister, Janne Buesching, Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren: Nathan Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Jalynn Skinner and Brant Skinner. He was preceded by his parents, Robert and Hazel Johnson. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sugar Grove Church of God, 5019 E. CR 500 S-57, Churubusco. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday and an hour prior to the service Monday.
