Dog Poisoned

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

Apparently you can't protect the dogs in your own back yard.

On July 16, Jo Jo (a Great Dane) living at residence 960 W. Tippecanoe St., Warsaw, was murdered by what is believed to be a poisoned meat ball.

Jo Jo was taken to the vet July 13 because he was vomiting blood and lost control of his bowels.

He was released July 14 only to die on the 16th at 11 p.m. Underneath his mouth was more vomit and a piece of a meatball. So if you can't protect the dogs in your fenced in backyard how will you be able to protect your kids?

What low life would kill a paralyzed man's dog when he's confined to a bed because of his pain. I hope the coward that did this sleeps well at night and in peace while the family next door is all tore apart missing their best friend.

Rest in Peace Jo Jo. We Love You. The Hurd family.

Linda Hurd,
