Dog Park

Do you like dogs, the outdoors, having fun with family, and helping your town? If you do, you would probably love the idea of getting a dog park in the city of Warsaw. Currently, we don’t have one.

I think a dog park would be a great place for a family to spend time with each other and their dogs. When families stay home, they end up doing things like watching television, working on the computer, playing video games, listening to music and talking on the phone. This means that the family is not spending enough time with each other. It also means that they are not going outside. If families took their dogs to the dog park, all of the things that they do at home would decrease and they could spend time talking to each other and loving their dogs.

Another reason a dog park would be nice in Warsaw is because it would give dogs and their owners a safe place to exercise, but the owners would have the responsibility to clean up their dog’s messes. A dog park would also have big open grass areas that are fenced in, so dogs and their owners could run, play catch, and jump around. Dogs need exercise just like people. The owners would feel good letting their dogs run around if they knew that they wouldn’t run out in a road and get hit by a car. It would also be a nice place for the owners to be outside to stretch and exercise with their dogs. People will feel better when their dogs are happy and they get to be outside more. It will also get them away from watching too much television and being lazy.

Finally, having a big area for a dog park will be good for our environment and our town. We will keep more trees, grass, bushes and ponds instead of buildings and roads. If we have more of these things, like trees and bushes, there will be more animals, birds and insects. I think it would make Warsaw look prettier with flowers and gardens and fountains in the ponds. A dog park that looks nice would bring more people into Warsaw.  That means they would spend money in our town, and that would help our businesses to grow.

If a dog park helps us, our dogs, the environment, and the city of Warsaw, why would we not have one right now? My dog is very important to me. I love my family. I also want to make Warsaw a nicer place to live. Let’s build a dog park tomorrow!
