Dog Attack

Posted

Jerry Clase, county animal control officer, holds two boxers - a male and a female - at bay after they reportedly attacked a boy Monday evening. Ben Lozano, 8, of 4679 Armstrong Road, was bitten on the lower left leg. He was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital and released. The incident occurred on Armstrong Road near CR 475E. The owner of the dogs is Rick Celilel, of 4690 East Armstrong Road. Celilel had an electronic fence installed on his property, but the dogs ran through the fence. The dogs' shots were up to date, but Celilel is keeping the dogs locked in his garage for the mandatory 10-day quarantine. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
