I have read several letters to the editor from Mr. Betances defending the train wreck that's going on in government at this time, but the one in Tuesday's paper about the deficit made me laugh out loud.
The joker we have in the White House at this time has spent more in a little over a year than Bush did in eight years. Do you people hate George Bush so much that you dream this stuff up? Why are you all still beating a dead horse to death by blaming everything on Bush?
I think I read in one of your letters that if Bush would have given the word, Bin Laden would have been taken out and 9/11 wouldn't have happened. Sorry again, but that blame goes to Bill Clinton not Bush. So I don't know where you're getting your info, but a lot of it is wrong.
Bottom line is we, America, needs someone to lead, listen to the people who elected them and move this country forward. Thank God Obama will be a one-term president then be gone. Frankly, we couldn't afford him for four more years. Have a nice day!
