The Kosciusko Community YMCA Dodgeball League will start up again this April.
Each team must have between six and 10 players with at least two females on the court to begin the game. Make sure to recruit the best throwers and quickest movers for the team because there is a trophy involved. Win or lose, participants get a team t-shirt. Register at any of the YMCA's three branches by March 16 or contact Jon Hoover at 574-269-9622 for more information.
Games are played at the Smith Street YMCA gym on Monday evenings between 6 and 10 p.m. April 9 through May 21. Games will be played best of seven format, with each team playing a minimum of seven regular season games and in a single-elimination tournament. Variations on the typical dodgeball game will be played including basketball-dodgeball, queen-bee dodgeball, and sudden-death dodgeball.
