The Indiana Department of Natural Resources announced Wednesday that the emergency order restricting motorized watercraft to idle speed on the Barbee chain of lakes has been lifted.
The Barbee chain includes Kuhn, Big Barbee, Little Barbee, Irish, Banning, Sawmill and Sechrist lakes.
The restriction was put in place after rainfalls created a risk of water reaching and entering dwellings.
