Dixie Days Merchant, Runner Applications Available

NORTH WEBSTER – The 6th annual Dixie Days festival is July 26 in North Webster. This year’s festival celebrates 85 years of the Dixie Boat wheeling along Webster Lake. Events downtown and at the fairgrounds and community center starting from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. will include an open air market, sidewalk sales, live music and the Art & Craft Fair. Booth spaces are $25 for a 10-foot by 10-foot spot on the grass or sidewalk. Set-up time is 8 a.m. This is a rain or shine event so vendors are encouraged to have a tent. They may provide their own tables, chairs and any other items needed for the booth, or may rent tables from the North Webster Tippecanoe Chamber of Commerce. All vendor work must be original. Artists interested in participating must fill out the form available at www.northwebster.com and return it with a photo of their work and payment to: North Webster Chamber of Commerce, Attn: Dixie Day Art Fair, PO Box 19, North Webster, IN 46555 or email: nwttchamber@gmail.com The deadline to enter is July 15. Space is limited and participants will be juried. The Dixie Days 5K Run/Walk will start at 8 a.m. during the festival. The Dixie Run is a fun run that helps support the festival, and awards will be given male and female overall and by age group. Pre-registration cost is $15 and race day registration is $20.
