Disturbed

It’s very disturbing to me that our justice system will not take the children’s part in custody and visitation issues.  When a mother has turned in papers to the judge to read and they don’t even read it, there’s something wrong.

When a mother has a CASA report that states that the father should not have the children overnight and the judge does not read it, something is wrong.

When children write letters and no one reads them, something is wrong.

When kids are afraid of the other parent something needs to be done besides just patting the parents on the hand and saying just go by the guidelines.

Where are the guidelines for the kids.

Why can’t we listen to kids when they talk. Either all the paperwork that is turned in doesn’t get to the judge or he just doesn’t care. We need to do something.

Somewhere in the system something is wrong.

Maybe we need to just seat all new judges in the next election.

We need people in the courts who will work for the children. I’m tired of hearing that the judge can’t read everything, they are just to busy. Then get more judges.

We let to many children fall between the cracks because they are busy.

Well, suck it up judge, it’s your job. And we elected you to do the job. Maybe this county needs fresh new life in our judicial system.

We need to remember the children and they didn’t ask for the problems their parents have. It’s not their fault.
