Kosciusko County's Solid Waste District will have a different hauler for the next two years.
The district board approved on Tuesday a bid by Stafford Solid Waste to provide services for 1998 and 1999, said district director Marsha Eikenberry.
Stafford will receive $9,300 per month in 1998 and $9,600 in 1999.
Waste Management has been contracted by the county for several years, but the national firm submitted a bid that would have doubled the cost. Waste Management receives $7,900 per month and was seeking $14,443.
