Manchester’s athletic department named its top female and male athletes for 2014-15 on Thursday. Lindsey Dierks was the Grace Kester Outstanding Female Athlete Award winner and Clayton Moore won the Dick Miller Outstanding Male Athlete Award. Dierks participated in track and field, cross country, and basketball. She was a four-time sectional champion and regional qualifier and was a state qualifier this spring in the high jump, and now holds the school record at 5-feet, 5.25 inches. Moore was a wrestler for four years, earning 2015 sectional, regional, and semistate championships. He qualified for the state meet in 2014 and 2015, and finished with a career record of 110-27.
