ARGOS – Diane Louise Clingenpeel Ryman, 76, of Atwood, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, at 4:22 p.m. at Paddock Springs Health Campus, Warsaw, where she had been in declining health for the past year.
On Jan. 24, 1945, in Warsaw, she was born to Laurel W. Clingenpeel and Betty L. Holderman Clingenpeel. Diane had lived all her life in the Atwood community.
On Dec. 31, 1963, in Atwood, she married David E. Ryman and together they shared the past 57 years.
Diane was a housewife/homemaker. She had worked at Creighton Brothers, Etna Green Elevator and Bourbon Wire.
Diane was a member of Harrison Center Church, Etna Green; and a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She attended Atwood High School and graduated from Warsaw High School with the class of 1963 after the consolidation.
Diane is survived by her husband, Dave Ryman, of Atwood; son, Brian E. Ryman and wife Ashley, of Atwood; eight grandchildren: Kristi, Alicia, Gracey, Erinn, Corey, Bo, Kierra and Shaylee; one great-grandchild, Liam, and one to be very soon; sisters: Cindy Simmons and husband Dorsey, of Fort Wayne; Brenda Brown and husband Mike, of Kentucky; brothers: David Clark and wife Cynthia, of Warsaw; Stephen Clingenpeel and wife Melanie, of Kentucky; and Brent Clingenpeel, of Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Laura (Ryman) Graham; sister, Janina Haines.
Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 22 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Harrison Center Church, 965 800 W., Etna Green. Funeral Services followed at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 at the church with Rev. Mark Burritt of Harrison Center Church.
Arrangements were entrusted with the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.
