Diane Jill Sisk Harmon, 41, died at 5:21 p.m. Feb. 15, 2013, in St. Joseph Regional Hospital, Mishawaka, after a 23-year battle with Crohn’s Disease.
She was born Oct. 27, 1971, in Warsaw, to Bill and Carol Baumgartner Sisk. On April 19, 2003, in Atwood, she married Dane Harmon, who survives.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was a 1990 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School, Mentone. She went to the state swimming finals in 1987 and 1988 and holds the school record for the butterfly stroke. She was a homemaker and a member of Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, Akron. She raised pigs as a member of the Beaver Dam 4-H and swam on the Tippy Valley Aquatic Team when she was 10. She was outgoing and had a mind of her own. She loved and would do anything for her girls and family.
Also surviving are two daughters, Angelica “Angel”  and Cheyenne Jackson, both of Warsaw; a stepdaughter, Tiffany (and spouse Lance) Everts, Warsaw; a granddaughter, Zoey Everts, Warsaw; her parents; a brother, Jack (and spouse Ronda) Sisk, Jacksonville, Fla.; and maternal grandmother, Margaret Baumgartner. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, W. Wayne Baumgartner, and paternal grandparents, Jack and Doris Sisk.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher of New Beginnings Community Church, Atwood. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and  6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
