Diane Jane Rhine, 70, passed away at 10:16 a.m. June 4, 2016, in Bridgewater Healthcare Center, Carmel.
She was born Aug. 29, 1945, in Warsaw, to Paul H. and Hazel A. Pippen Dean.
She graduated from New Carlisle High School and attended Bethel College, Mishawaka.
She was formerly of Kosciusko County.
She was a Brownie, Girl Scout and 4-H Leader for many years in Russiaville, near Kokomo. She liked arts and crafts but was an especially gifted canvas painter and ceramic designer. She was a former member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Kokomo.
Surviving are two daughters, Ashley Rhine, Indianapolis, and Holly (and spouse Doug) Smith, Noblesville; two sons, Jason Rhine, Maulvin, S.C., and  Justin (and spouse Crystal) Rhine, Kokomo; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Jo Anne (and spouse Wallace) Kehr, Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Dean.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
