MILFORD – Diana L. Thomas, 55, of Milford, died at 1:10 a.m. May 31, 2013, at her home. She was born July 19, 1957 in Chicago, to Allen H. and Norma J. Brown Leismer, who survive in Milford. She lived most of her life in Hammond, graduated from Morton Senior High School, Hammond, and attended Ivy Tech, Hammond. She moved to Milford in 1992 from the Valparaiso/Hammond area. She was formerly a caregiver for the elderly, worked at Maple Leaf Farms in Milford and had a small cleaning service. She was a member of the Christian Church in Milford. Also surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Tilbury, Milford; a son, Jeffery (and spouse Tonya) Bowman, Nashville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; two brothers, David (and spouse Joann) Leismer, Kouts, Ind., and Dan (and spouse Dennise) Leismer, Milford. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter. Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Stephen Leininger officiating.
