Dewain “Uncle Dewy” Elton Ott, 57, Warsaw, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born Jan. 3, 1961, to John Tites and Rose Katherine McFarlend Ott in Rainsville, Ala.

He is survived by his daughter, Tabatha Ott Reed, Rainsville, and the rest of his loving family: James Carpenter, North Webster; Angel Carpenter, Warsaw; Chasity Carpenter, Warsaw; Troy Carpenter, North Webster; and Johnny Carpenter, Hartselle, Ala.

He was preceded by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

“Uncle Dewy” was a loving and caring person who will be missed dearly by many.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating.

Interment will take place in Alabama.
