Sixth-graders at Harrison Elementary School have been exploring bridges for their STEM project this month. Students are studying the vocabulary, designs and theories used in the construction of famous bridges around the world using the Warsaw Community Schools Engineering Design Model: ask, explore, model, evaulate and explain. Students will apply their learning by designing and building a bridge using only toothpicks and glue. The objective is to design a bridge that can support the most weight.
