DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. unveiled the company's Freedom Hall in a dedication ceremony Monday at the company's Warsaw facility.
Through digital displays and artwork, Freedom Hall will honor all branches of the military, and pay tribute to DePuy employees and their family members with military service."This Veterans Day, Freedom Hall is an opportunity for us to honor veterans and thank them for making America the great country that it is today," said David Floyd, president of DePuy Orthopaedics.
Freedom Hall highlights the names and photos of DePuy employees and their family members who have served or currently serve in the military.
"On Veterans Day we also remember the troops who did not live to be thanked as veterans," said Earle Hanlin, worldwide vice president of human resources at DePuy Orthopaedics. "During our dedication ceremony for Freedom Hall, we take a moment to pay tribute to the courage of those who were lost in our current struggle. Two family members of DePuy employees died in the line of duty and will be featured in Freedom Hall: SGT. Nicholas 'Nick' Patterson and Lance Corporal David K. Fribley."
