Dennis M. Hazel, 80, passed away at 11 a.m. Feb. 19, 2016, in his Warsaw home. He was born Nov. 15, 1935, in Elkhart, to Lawrence S. and Evelyn R. Robinson Hazel. On May 31, 1995, in Harris, Ark., he married Ruth Grabill, who survives in Warsaw. He lived in the Warsaw area for the past 22 years. He retired in 2001 from Fahl Manufactured Homes as a service tech. He was a member of Warsaw Moose Lodge 560 and loved to watch crime dramas. Also surviving are a son, Dennis L. Hazel, Burbank, Calif.; three daughters: Sandy Hazel, Burbank, Calif.; DeAnn (and spouse Presley) Hall and Robin Kelly, all of Salbury, N.C.; four stepdaughters: Tammy (and spouse Craig) Gerard, Elkhart; Rhonda Ritchie, Gold Hill, N.C.; Tracy Feldman, Houston, Texas; Tina (and spouse Steve) Pollock, North Port, Fla.; a stepson, Mitch (and spouse Elizabeth) Feldman, Warsaw; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 13 stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be a private family burial in Gracelawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
