Dennis Lee Pinkerton, 68, Milford, passed away at 11:55 p.m. Oct. 10, 2016, in Syracuse. He was born Aug. 24, 1948, in Warsaw, to Glenn and Velma Miller Pinkerton. On Dec. 14, 1974, he was married to Doralee Johnson, who survives in Milford. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where he worked as a grain farmer. He was a member and past president of Milford Lions Club, and he also was a driver for the Amish. He was a longtime hunter and fisherman – he would fish any time of the year. Most of all he loved his family and will be dearly missed. He also leaves behind a son, Eric (and wife Tiffany) Pinkerton, Milford; a daughter, Elizabeth (and husband Christopher) Schmucker, Elkhart; and three grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and an infant brother. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Jesse Beer officiating. A graveside service will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Milford.
