SYRACUSE – Dennis L. Jones, 61, of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Syracuse, died March 12, 2012, in Phoenix.
He was born Feb. 5, 1951, in Warsaw, to Ray D. and Virginia C. Ringler Jones. His wife, Juanita Jones, survives in Arizona.
He attended Syracuse High School. He moved to Arizona 35 years ago and worked at Jenco Electric, Arizona.
Also surviving are two daughters, Shanna Dawson, Warsaw, and Kristy Jones, Phoenix; two sons, Dustin and Dennis Jr. Jones, both of Phoenix; a stepson, Tony; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother, Virginia Jones, Syracuse; two sisters, Kay (and spouse Larry) Belcher, Goshen, and Ginger (and spouse Dave) Palmer, Kingston, Ohio; and a brother, Mitch (and spouse Tracie) Jones, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Private burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery. ***** Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
