NAPPANEE – Dennis “Denny” Gene Smith, 67, New Paris, died at 11:33 a.m. Jan. 23, 2015, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, where he had been a patient for 11 days after a short illness. He was born Sept. 11, 1947, in Goshen, to Louis M. and Hilda L. Pfeiffer Smith. On Dec. 18, 2004, he married Donna L. Long, who survives. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial is in Bremen Cemetery.
