NAPPANEE – Dennis “Denny DZ” John Zent, 87, Nappanee, died at 6:30 a.m. Oct. 27, 2016, at Goshen Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born May 16, 1929, in Calumet City, Ill., to Earl R. and Gertrude J. Vogel Zent. On Oct. 30, 1949, he married Ruth Thornburg, who survives. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Cremation will follow, and burial will be at later date at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
