Delores June Meerzo, 94, died at 7:23 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester.
She was born June 29, 1929, in North Muskegon, Mich., to Ann Elizabeth Fechner and Roy Elmer Huntoon. On July 1, 1949, she married Albert Karder Meerzo.
Dee’s life will be celebrated with a service at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Andrew Morton of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 2 to 4 p.m. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
